Small group means two or more freely interacting people having common
identity or characteristics.
Members of small group are inter-dependent
to achieve any specific objective. Small group bears the following characteristics:
1. The number of members of small group usually ranges from five to nine.
2. Group members have common identity and formed for obtaining any specific purpose.
3. Group members have strong influencing capacity to persuade other members.
4. Small group take any of the following forms;
(i) Team
(ii) Committee
(iii) Bargaining Agent
(iv) Board
(v) Task force etc.
